- Stone Type

- slate

- Border

- The beveled edge of the stone joins with a thin width line to form a border around its circumference.
The tympanum and illustrated side panels are in bas-relief and their inclusion of negative space clarifies their space.

- Remark

- The tympanum's central image is of the bewigged old judge overlooking the deceased. His mirror-image wig is finely detailed but his face is simply an oval shape with raised eyebrows, large proboscis and a stern look.
The wings are detailed with a single quill and multiple segments along with a reinforced lead edge.
The side panels have cascading images with nautilus-like shapes which appear more aquatic than floral.

- Physical Status

- straight cracked
