Stone Type
granite
Tympanum
face with ornamentation
Border
Despite damage to both of this stone's shoulders, we can see that a (2) separate two line, thin width border arounds the tympanum and tablet sections. The tablet section uses a single line border.
Remark
The tympanum has two design elements. Around the perimeter of tympanum are seven half circles with another three in each lower corner. The central focus is a winged face which has unfortunately been lost to time. It appears to be the wild hair variety with spread wings. The illustrated side panels use an undulating simple design down each side.
