The stone's shoulders also form an outer border for the tablet section. There is no border to the tympanum which is discussed below. The gabled tablet itself has a similar width border around it's inner edge.
Remark
The tympanum art is a multi-panel umbrella over the stone. the bottom of each panel is scalloped.
